A couple decades ago I built a record store in my city. I built it because of my obsession with music and collecting records. My wife suggested I build a record store. I think she was hoping to get those records out of the home. Well, I did start a record store. It was a lot of fun. However, after nearly a decade I made the decision to sell. I started for opportunities to sell. getting it done wasn't easy.
I decided to hire an outside business broker/adviser to sell the record store for me. I wanted to stay away from selling to national companies. The new owner, I hoped, would keep the local flavor. Once I found a handyman business opportunities Chicago IL I was grateful they would try to respect my want.
Now that it's not my record store I still stop by to shop for records. I'm always happy to see the more records, but lamentably it's caused my own collection to balloon once again.
